2017 Warsaw Summit
The second Summit of the Three Seas Initiative was held on 6 July in Warsaw, co-hosted by the President of Croatia, Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, and the President of Poland, Mr. Andrzej Duda. The President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, attended this high-level meeting.
The Warsaw 2017 Summit anchored the Initiative to the transatlantic space and to the ongoing debate on the future of Europe. Also, in Warsaw, it was decided, with unanimity, upon the proposal of the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, to organize the 2018 Summit of the Three Seas Initiative and the first edition of the Business Forum in Romania.
2016 Dubrovnik Summit
The first Summit of the Three Seas Initiative was held on 25-26 August, 2016 in Dubrovnik (Croatia).
It followed a kick-off meeting in New York in 2015, held on the margins of the UN General Assembly, on 29 September.
The 2016 Summit was hosted by the President of Croatia, Ms. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, and set the stage for a flexible high-level format of dialogue that would address the connectivity issues of the region.
